Co-location Facility
Tsongas.net's equipment is housed at Fortix, a carrier grade Tier-1 data center featuring:

The Fortix network has the Cisco Powered Network certification, the highest designation for service quality and engineering given by Cisco Systems.
Network and Computer Equipment
Tsongas.net has a dedicated Cisco switch and PIX firewall, with two redundant connections to the Fortix network. The firewall enables secure remote management via VPN using 3DES encryption.
All Tsongas.net DNS, email, database, and web servers use Intel rackmount chassis and motherboards. Each is equipped with dual CPUs and SCSI hot-swap hardware RAID for fast performance, and to keep a drive failure from causing downtime.
